Benjamin R. Herzberger Associate

A native of the east coast, Benjamin Herzberger relocated to northern California to pursue a career in law. Ben graduated from U.C. Davis School of Law in 2013. While there he completed externships with state and federal court judges and was a teaching assistant in the legal writing program. Following law school, he spent two years as law clerk to the Honorable Troy L. Nunley at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California, where he gained substantial research and writing experience on a wide array of civil and criminal matters. Upon conclusion of his clerkship, he worked as an associate attorney in the Sacramento office of a national law firm representing Native American tribes. He joined Jacobson Markham in 2017 to pursue his passion in civil litigation and trial practice.

Ben’s practice focuses on civil litigation defense, including personal injury, construction defect, products liability, and employment matters. Prior to his legal career, Ben received his Master’s degree in the Humanities and was an adjunct lecturer at several colleges in the Chicago area.
