Chelsea Monahan Associate

The newest member of the team, Chelsea Monahan, a 2018 Bar admittee, brings impressive credentials to the firm. She is a cum laude graduate of Whittier School of Law, where she won three CALI Awards for the highest grades in Constitutional Law, California Business Disputes, and Employment Law.

Her effectiveness with juries has been honed at Whittier as a Trial Advocacy Honors Board External Competitor. Her team consistently won rulings and advanced to the next round, leading the school to multiple wins over other schools. She was also inducted into the school’s chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, the largest co-ed professional law fraternity in the U.S. Chelsea’s charismatic personality and well-researched arguments make her a formidable opponent in the courtroom. In her previous positions as a law clerk for two law firms and the Legal Aid Society of Orange County, she developed strong verbal, written, and analytical talents, enhancing her ability to communicate successfully with diverse clients.

Chelsea, who is proficient in Spanish, has traveled in 15 different countries and lived for nearly a year in Europe. She believes her extensive international experience gives her a valuable perspective on social and cultural issues. A second-generation native of Sacramento and a graduate of California State University Sacramento, where she was on the Honor Roll, Chelsea enjoys being back in her hometown. She contributes her expertise in accountability and representation as a volunteer with the Arden Manor Parks and Recreation District, ensuring community parks are safe and well-maintained for area taxpayers.
