Ben Hunter joined Jacobson Markham in 2021 as a post-bar graduate clerk. After receiving his license, he began practicing, focusing on civil litigation defense in personal injury, public entity employment and discrimination cases, and construction defect matters.
Ben attended Sonoma State University and earned a degree in Political Science, being selected for the Dean’s List. After graduation, he worked at a transactional law firm in the Sacramento area until he went to law school.
In 2021, Ben graduated from University of Michigan Law School. While there, he served as an editor on the Michigan Business and Entrepreneurial Law Journal and as a member of the Business Law Association. He also spent time giving back to the local community by representing taxpayers at the Low Income Taxpayers Clinic.
During law school, Ben was an extern for Hon. William Shubb at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, as well as a summer legal intern for a personal injury law firm in Dallas, Texas. In his final year of law school, Ben was awarded a Certificate of Merit for his outstanding academic performance.
